Facelift guide
Facelift over 60 in Seoul, Korea
Age alone does not rule out a facelift; general health matters more. Patients in their 60s and 70s often see the most dramatic change from a deep plane face and neck lift. At Grand every patient has a 50-point pre-operative health check, and an anesthesiologist is present throughout surgery.
Health screening comes first
Blood pressure, heart health, blood sugar, blood thinners and supplements are reviewed before surgery. Bring a list of all your medications and recent medical reports, translated if possible. Your coordinator will tell you which tests to bring from home.
Safety at Grand
- Anesthesiologists are resident 365 days a year and monitor every general-anesthesia surgery (oxygen saturation, pulse and blood pressure).
- Operating rooms are recorded by CCTV and watched from a separate monitoring room, and the surgeon you consult is the surgeon who operates (operation real-name system).
- Pre-operative health check with a 50-point checklist, including 3D-CT imaging where needed.
- Emergency equipment on standby: AED, emergency cart, dantrolene for malignant hyperthermia, and an uninterruptible power supply.
Realistic results
A deep plane lift repositions sagging tissue and removes excess skin, often making patients look years younger while keeping their own expression. Deep wrinkles in thin skin may also need skin treatments.
