Minimally invasive lift

Thread lift in Seoul, Korea

A thread lift raises sagging cheeks and softens nasolabial folds with dissolvable threads placed under the skin, without incisions. Grand uses patented PDO threads with 360° spiral barbs that grip tissue. It takes 30 minutes to 1 hour under IV sedation, there are no stitches to remove, and the threads dissolve after about 240 days.

Who is it for?

  • Nasolabial folds and cheeks that make you look older than you are
  • Mild sagging and full cheeks at any age
  • People who want to avoid surgical scars
  • People who cannot take time off for a facelift
  • A wide-looking lower face

Thread lift or facelift?

Threads lift and hold tissue while collagen forms around them, but they do not reposition the SMAS layer or remove excess skin. They suit mild sagging and people who want minimal downtime. For moderate to severe sagging a mini lift or deep plane facelift lasts much longer. Read facelift vs thread lift.

A good choice for short trips

Because there is no stitch removal, a thread lift fits a short visit. It is part of Grand's 1-Day Lifting package: consultation at 9:00, procedure at 11:00, discharge by 15:00.

Are the threads approved?

Grand reports that the threads it uses are approved by Korea's MFDS and the US FDA.
