Facelift scars in Seoul, Korea: where they are and how they heal
Facelift incisions are placed inside the hairline, in the natural crease in front of the ear and behind the ear, so scars are hidden by hair and the ear's shape. Because the deep plane lift puts tension on the deeper layer instead of the skin, the skin edge heals under low tension, which keeps scars thin.

Frequently asked questions
Will people see my facelift scars?
With normal hairstyles most scars are very hard to see once healed. Short hair may need slightly different planning; tell your surgeon.
Can I get keloids?
If you have a history of keloids, tell your surgeon. Extra scar care can be planned.
